How we handle your information
What we collect when you apply, why we collect it, and the control you have over it.
What we collect
When you create an account and build your profile, we collect the information you choose to provide, including your name and contact details, identity documents (such as a national ID or passport), your qualifications and work history, language and professional details, and any supporting documents you upload. Employers provide their company and contact details when they register.
Why we collect it
We use this information to confirm your contact details, assess your application, and match your profile with employers and opportunities. Your email address is verified at sign-up so that your account is tied to a contact we can reach.
Who can see it
Your information is reviewed by the Skillabour team as part of assessing your application. Registered employers may view candidate profiles through the platform in connection with recruitment. We do not sell your personal information.
Your control
You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or remove it. To make a request, or if you have any question about how your data is handled, contact us and we will help.
This page describes how the Skillabour platform currently handles your information. We will update it as the service develops.
